Garbage Cleanup with L.L. Bean

Help clean up garbage around your neighborhood and drop it off either at the Brick South Beer Garden or at L.L. Bean in Freeport and get a $10 gift card for each bag you bring! Garbage hauling is sponsored by Garbage to Garden and Saltwater Classroom. For full details, click here.

The Children’s Museum & Theatre

9-10am & 1-2pm 

Meet Istar, the 45 foot long, inflatable humpback whale, on the Museum & Theatre’s Gather lawn and learn about how climate change is impacting whales, weather permitting. 

10-11 & 2-3pm

Join us in the Makerspace to tinker, create and make one of a kind projects from recycled and reused materials.  Reduce, Reuse and Recycle while exploring the Makerspace!

10:30-11am & 2:30-3pm 

Come meet, touch, and study live earthworms during our vermiculture program: Wiggle with Worms.          

3:15-3:45pm 

Explore our region’s watershed as you complete an aquatic creature scavenger hunt. 

All programming included in admission to the 9am-12pm or 1-4pm Play Sessions. 

Wine Tasting With Rosemont Market

Join Rosemont Market & Wine Bar for an Earth Day Natural Wine Tasting in their Community Gathering Garden

Purchase a splash card from their outdoor bar and take a seat to enjoy our budding garden space as your taste your way through four specially selected natural wines. Rosemont Wine Bar will be moving through the garden throughout the event to chat with guests about the wines on offer and answer questions on the process behind natural winemaking.

The event will be held from 3pm to 5pm with a rain space indoors.
